Capsized Vault does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All wallet data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it, except as described below.
To sync your wallet, the app connects to a Monero node. Your IP address is visible to the node operator. No wallet addresses, balances, or transaction data are sent to ViProject Ltd or any third party controlled by us — they are transmitted directly between your device and the node.
The app fetches the current Monero (XMR) exchange rate from CoinGecko (api.coingecko.com). This request contains no personal data — only the coin identifier and requested fiat currencies.
On launch, the app checks https://capsized.io/version.json to determine whether an update is available. This request contains no personal data.

None of the above is transmitted to ViProject Ltd or any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting service. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters, and no advertising frameworks.
The camera is used exclusively to scan QR codes for Monero wallet addresses. Images are never stored or transmitted.
The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
Seed phrases and private keys entered into the app (e.g. during wallet restore) are processed entirely on-device to derive your wallet. They are never transmitted to ViProject Ltd or any third party.
Since Capsized Vault does not collect any personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. If you have any privacy-related questions, please contact us at the address below.
This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same URL with a new “Last updated” date.
